After a long time...

i kno i haven been writing anything for a long time. "i am bak"[:p]
i wanted to write about this sms language.
last week i was asked to submit a report on something in my coll. as usual i was hurryin to finish it in d morning havin postponed it to d last min.
after i went to coll i was goin thru d report before submission n i was shocked to find out my spellings for certain words.
"r" instead of "are", "n" instead of "and", "d" instead of "the" "tomoro" instead of tomorrow.. what a shame!!!
and i was about to submit this.that too to our H.O.D..whew!!
this mobile phones have revolutionized not only the technology but also english language. "whats up" became "watzup" and finally now its just "sup"(when i first heard this sup i was bewildered thinkin if it was a hindi word!)
24*7 smsing has changed the language upside down. no grammar, no spelling and no punctuation in a msg.once i got a reply for one of my spsed to b funny msg as "rotfl"
i was too proud to accept my ignorance in this and a a google search revealed its expansion as " rolloing on the floor laughing"
and then i decided that world is going to dogs! i mean its ok if v use some short forms for long words but absurd abbreviations.(i think its a fashion!)
another of this abb. which brought smoke to my ears is "sflr"
later i found out that it meant "sorry for late reply"
so now i am consciously trying to avoid this short forms. otherwise i guess i will get into serious trouble regarding my basic english spellings :(
(my assignment which i submitted is not yet evaluated!)
so ya.. c u soon with another post...
HAND(don think too much.. it means have a nice day..:D)
c ya...
